Countdown

so many things to do
little time left for you
born with a family bond
taught to respect the society
learnt the other way round
experienced trust and lies
inferenced what is wrong and what is right
matured with one more tooth and few hairs left
bones weaker and vertebrae bent
all passion and love left spent
looming over the past
memoirs of the good and the ugly
start scaling virtues in the end
feel sad and try to straighten the bend
watch the same passion in young eyes
staring and seeking for guidance at you
what is your gospel
a man who himself is cast in an evil spell
watch each day been mercilessly spent
wait with fear for the unevitable wreath
which comes with the last breath
